Research Interests

As a research associate and PhD student at LIH, I am working on the rock mechanical/geotechnical characterisation of rock masses in the Belgium-Netherlands-Germany border triangle in connection with the feasibility study of the gravitational wave detector "Einstein Telescope". My work is based on in-situ tests (borehole logging, hydro-mechanical tests, hydraulic fracturing) as well as laboratory tests (UCS, BTS, tri-axial pressure tests).
